Publicity for Music & Music Festivals
It can sometimes be difficult to find people you trust to take care of your publicity needs. You’re busy enough as it is. The last thing you need to worry about is getting coverage for your music and events.
The media is critical to the success and in aiding any artist or music festival grow. But we all know it – they can sometimes take some hand holding. It’s so important for you to have a clear and concise message to share with the media so you can maintain control over the overall messaging that’s being shared with the public.
Our approach to publicity is a little unique. Having been part of the media landscape in the music industry for over a decade, as well as handling publicity for some of Canada’s largest music festivals and artists, we can approach publicity with both interests in mind. We understand what’s important for the media, and we know what’s important for our clients. The key is consistency in messaging.
We would love to talk more about how we can help you with any, or all, of your publicity needs.
Publicity Services
Artist Management
As an artist, you should really only be worried about putting out the best music possible. There’s no need for you to be scheduling your own interviews, or worried about getting coverage of your latest music or appearances. With me handling your publicity, you won’t have to worry about creating your schedule – you’ll just have to show up!
Media Management
Handling media before, during, and after an event can be overwhelming, especially when there’s so much other work to do. Setting up media needs, and managing them throughout an event is one of my specialties. From granting media accreditation access, managing interview schedules, sending out press releases, and everything in between. You can rest assured that it will all be taken care of professionally and accurately by my team and I.
Crisis Management
One of the worst feelings is having something go wrong. It’s even worse when something goes wrong and it gets out to the public. When this happens, you need to act fast. It’s important to have a crisis management plan, and a dedicated resource who can help fix what has happened and notify / change the public perception. A crisis could be something small like an artist cursing on television, to something bigger like your database being hacked. Regardless of the size, you can be sure that I will have your best interest in mind when dealing with a crisis.
